-Visuals- 9.9/10
I want this in HD. I want this on the PS3. And I want it now!! Dammit! OK...rant over. But seriously, this game is simply one of the quirkiest and most original looking games I have had the pleasure to ever play on the DS. I swear, you will spend as much time looking at the backgrounds, and even more so the various NPC's movement's as you will watching what is actually going on. Between the dancing policeman, the officer with itchy feet and the Michael Jackson impersonating Cabanela

-Sound- 8.6/10
Well....somewhat repetitious tunes but they do set the mood nicely and here's the important thing, while the music does repeat quite a bit it does not get old. It's a simple case of the music not necessarily adding a whole lot to the game but it certainly does not detract from the game. Now, be aware, this it at heart a point and click visual novel, so there is no voice acting, but I swear the characters are so well acted visually (and textually) that I made up my own accents for them, lol.
-Gameplay- 9.2/10
It is a puzzle game/visual novel, and I'd say it's about 50/50 to be honest. The puzzles are actually rather linear though, as is the game, but what makes the puzzles interesting is that they require some thought, it actually reminds me of an old PC game I played called Incredible machine as it requires you to navigate from various positions and once you get from point A to B then you have to figure out how to manipulate different objects to cause scenario C to now be different. In other words you are, for the most part, attempting to change fate and save someones life in the process. I am, thus admitted, not a really big fan of puzzle games, but I admit I had a field day with this game and only one serious puzzle gave me a serious headaches, the rest range from rather simple to slightly challenging to OMG I am so proud I figured this out, and they are certainly solvable, but some do require some thought, in other words an almost perfect balance.

-Story- 9.1/10
Basically this is a who dunnit type detective story, with twists and turns around every corner, lol. To say too much would totally give it away but in a nutshell you are a spirit who is attempting to recover his memory, find out who shot him and why and unravel the mystery which accompanies your demise. It is a convoluted little tale but oh so enjoyable a ride.
-Overall- 9.2/10
This game is simply loads of fun, assuming you like logic style puzzle games. If not then you probably would find the game to be frustrating and it would drive you crazy. However, I am going to say something here I have never said before, play it anyhow. Use a spoiler proof guide for the puzzles and play it regardless. The characters and story alone make it worth the time! I promise (and I was a Boy Scout so you can trust me, lol).
