-Visuals- 10/10
The character models are unique, for every area you take Altair into the guards are different, the quest models are different. Every area is different in some way. Just take Altair on a big cliff next to a city, the whole city is opened to you, and if you look close enough you can see the people inside it! Along with this, go inside the city and climb to the tallest tower and look down. It is epic, my friend. Along with this cinematics are stunning, they're not common in the game but it gives you a taste and feel to what you will encounter without telling much. If you are still not convinced about the graphics, there are no graphic glitches at all, if there is, it is rare. On many games when you've got people with capes, the cape will flail right through them. Also, you can see Altair's finger missing from where he ejects his switch blade!
-Sound- 9.5/10
The sounds are so ambient they are like fluid. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the sound at all. When you choke someone with a blade right down their neck they give a pleasing gut-wrenching squeal that you can practically experience as if you were right there. When you jump down from buildings and your feet hit the ground, it sounds exactly how it is supposed to. When you switch terrain textures your running sounds different. Now I am not talking about those cartoonish sounds. Go outside and jump in some mud, Assassin's Creed will sound exactly like that.
-Gameplay- 9/10
Gameplay is the backbone of being an assassin, although without sound and stunning visuals this game would be like trying to cut down a tree with a butter knife. The more I play this the more I enjoy running around, taking a break from my main quest and assassinating guards. From behind, from the side, from the front, when you're sad, when you're mad, when you're running, when you're walking, when your jumping, and yes, when you are leaping. As you can see there are many ways to assassinate people. But this is not the only thing. If you are tired of your old switchblade, try and get into a sword fight with twenty other guards. It is good fun and there are many moves to choose from like Dodge, Parry, and the good old hydrenalin filled counter attack.
But if you like to mess around and kill stuff you will find gameplay to be repetitive. But if you stick the the story-line you will be just fine. It is good to mess around once and a while right?
-Story- 10/10
You will LOVE the storyline, there are no plot-holes, there is nothing wrong with the story at all. In my opinion Ubisoft should write storylines for all videogames. When you are playing Assassin's creed for five hours straight you will say to yourself, "How did they come up with this, they are geniuses!" You will find DAYS of Assassination and bloody, glorious carnage. In the story it might be confusing at first but then you will quickly realize that you are a man under operations of several scientists, you are placed in this machine that makes you have visions of your past time. These scientists are looking for answers, pick up a copy of this game and you will find out.
-Overall- 9.5/10
One of the best games I've played in a long time, you will have days of bloody carnage and assassination. Unraveling a story of your characters past time all the same moment! Although gameplay was a little repetitive, ignore it and you will have the best assassinating time of your life. There are no limits to how you get the job done, just make sure he is dead my friend.
