-Visuals- 9.5/10
A massive improvement over the first game. Much more crisp and less blurry. Terrain now has texture and the way characters move is much more realistic looking than the first game. The GeoMod engine makes a return allowing you to once again, make your own doors and fox holes. Weapons look great again and there are some pretty cool vehicle designs.
-Sound- 7/10
It's not that the sound is bad; it's just not good. Some voice acting shows a flash of brilliance but the rest is ho-hum. Music is average at best and doesn't invoke any emotions. Gun sounds are effective, but some weapons do sound the same.
-Game play- 8.7/10
Very well designed levels. Only once did I get lost and that was me forgetting that doors don't open themselves. (Walls in that case actually.) There are plenty of people that want to stop you from completing your goal, and there is only one way to solve that problem. Guns. This game will give you plenty of that. Some levels allow you to shoot a tank cannon or use a gun ship in aerial battles. Multiplayer arena mode is also a big plus in this game. My buddy and I easily spent 3-4 hours on that in one day. Only drawback is the short single player.
-Story- 6/10
Forgettable. I actually had to look it up. You are part of a squad of super soldiers who are to exterminated because you can think for yourself. The Chancellor of the Commonwealth wants to create a new squad that cannot think on it's own. Well, your squad isn't going down without a fight.
-Overall- 8.5/10
A fun but short game. The graphics are good, and multiplayer allows for big battles without a choppy frame rate. Definitely worth the money.
